What to do if you encounter "unsupported binary" or "invalid key file" error messages
If you encounter a message that indicates that the binary you've selected is unsupported or that the encryption key you've selected is invalid, you can follow the instructions below.
Make sure you're trying to import the right type of file into the right place
Make sure you're trying to import the right file, in the right place. Regular binaries are supposed to be imported in the library section, whereas encryption keys are supported to be imported in the Encryption key section under Settings.
Make sure you're trying to import files that are supported
placiibo currently only supports binary files with the .bin file extension. In addition to that, placiibo only supports binary files and encryption keys of a certain file size. See this FAQ article for more information on the file sizes placiibo currently supports.
Make sure the file you're trying to import into the library isn't already present
For your convenience, placiibo doesn't allow you to import the same binary file twice. Make sure the file you're trying to import into the library hasn't already been imported before. If you're sure you haven't imported the file you're selecting but still get encounter a message that indicates that the file you're trying to import is a duplicate file then please see this FAQ article for a solution.
